Each piece from the AppaLuxe Clay Studio is handcrafted with care and designed to be enjoyed for years with proper handling. Polymer clay is lightweight and durable, but like all handmade pieces, it deserves a little extra care.

Caring for Your Clay Jewelry

• Keep pieces dry
  Avoid wearing clay earrings while swimming, showering, or exercising. Prolonged exposure to moisture can affect the hardware and finish over time.
• Store properly
  When not wearing your pieces, store them in a jewelry box, pouch, or other safe place away from direct sunlight, heat, and humidity.
• Handle with care
  Although polymer clay is flexible and lightweight, avoid bending, dropping, or placing heavy objects on your pieces.
• Keep them clean
  If needed, gently wipe your clay pieces with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, alcohol, or abrasive cleaners, as these may affect the finish.
• Be mindful of hardware
  Hold earrings by the post or hook when putting them on or removing them to help protect the clay design and hardware connections.
